Start Date: Immediate (Onboarding end May to Early June 2025)

Introduction

Take your first step towards a career in private equity by joining Vibranium Capital as a Private Equity Investment Associate Intern.

You'll work closely with seasoned investors (4 fund partners with extensive investment banking and private experience at bulge bracket firms as well as significant operating experience at large Global Fortune 100 companies). This opportunity provides you with an immersive experience and training, preparing you for a career in major private equity firms.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated intern to support our deal team in sourcing, evaluating, and executing acquisitions. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of the private equity investment process — from market mapping and industry research to financial modeling and due diligence. You’ll work closely with the fund’s partners and be trusted to contribute directly to live deals and investment theses, while also developing a strong understanding of how value is created post-acquisition.

The objective of the role is to grow the qualified target company pipeline by 5 to 10 companies per month. This involves significant outreach, research, analysis and investment committee discussions.

The role is fully remote. The ideal candidate is expected to commit to a flexible work schedule of 20 to 25 hours per week. Total time commitment can be as little as 3 months. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-paced private equity environment. The ideal candidate is expected to be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, who is eager to make a positive impact on the team. An Associate Intern should expect to develop a fundamental knowledge of the process by which middle market companies are bought and sold. Associate Interns will also gain a working understanding of the industry participants involved in middle market transactions and the motivating factors driving their behavior.
